Ideas, ideas, ideas!

As an educator, I plan to work to the best of my ability to keep my students interested in the subject matter and ready and eggar to learn. One way I plan to do this is by designing and planning engaging lessons that are rich in technology. These lessons can be used both by teachers and students. I think that technology is a major aspect of learning and should be used whenever possible. As a classroom teaching I will strive to provide a technology enriched classroom for all students.

There are many ways to present concepts effectively while using technology. One way to present concepts is in a fun way. All students love to learn when it invloves fun things. The teacher should also be engaged in the lesson and excited to teach it to the studnets. When the teacher is not invloved, nor are the students.

Teachers can use many differnt types of technology tools to assess their student's knowledge and understanding of the material. One way is through the use of a rubric. Rubrics can be completed via internet and/or paper. Teachers can also use an assessment tool at the end of their lesson to ask students questions about their understanding of the lesson and its material. This tool is related to technology and students also enjoy using the computer to complete surveys.

Technology can be used in many different ways to effectively manage a classroom. Teachers can use computer free time to positively reinforce students good behavior during class. Technology can also be used for Powerpoint presentations which keeps students ingaged in a lesson more so then looking down at a book time after time. The classroom teacher can also keep a behavior chart on the computer to look over students performance in class on a daily basis.
